A durable and extremely lightweight roll-top style backpack from Exped. The top-loading roll-top closure handles varying weather conditions well, while also allowing extra gear to be packed in when needed.
Thanks to the zigzag-designed compression straps, the Lightning can be packed down nice and tight.

The backpack features an extremely lightweight carry system, with a frame consisting of a simple aluminium stay. The carry system is designed to transfer as much of the pack's weight as possible onto the carrier's hips.

Back length is easily adjustable, and padded shoulder straps along with a repositionable chest strap add extra comfort. Large stretch pockets on the sides of the pack accommodate water bottles, trekking poles or similar items, while the hip belt features pockets for smaller essentials. A weather-resistant zippered pocket provides access to a dedicated hydration sleeve, and inside the pack you'll find a large mesh pocket for valuables.
The Exped Lightning 60 also comes equipped with a sturdy haul handle, ice axe attachments and a handy webbing loop on top of the pack.
