The waters of Puula and Saimaa offer paddlers memorable experiences from spring to autumn — and now you can easily book a canoe or kayak for your adventure. You'll also find a great selection of other outdoor and trekking gear on our site. We're happy to help you plan your routes and trips too.
If your adventure takes you further afield — say, up north — you're welcome to rent the gear and take it with you.
It's just over two hours by car from Helsinki to Otava, Mikkeli and Lake Puula!
Rental locations:
Otava, Koivakkalantie – Pick-up point, approx. 2 km from the Otava lakeshore. Book via our website, all payment methods accepted (card, cash, bank transfer, MobilePay, sports/leisure benefits)
Ristiina, Varkaantaipale – Open in line with the summer restaurant, until the end of August: weekdays and Sundays 10–20, Fri–Sat 10–22 (or 1:30). Book via our website, payment in advance (bank transfer, MobilePay, sports/leisure benefits)

Chat bot – Little Raven (Pikku Korppi)
There's now a chat assistant in the bottom right corner of the page. You can ask it about availability and pricing. The bot is still a work in progress, but it can pull information from the booking calendar, suggest options and calculate prices. Transport price calculation is partially functional — for a more accurate estimate, use the calculator below, which is also available when making a booking.
Delivery price calculator now available in bookings.
When confirming your booking, select: delivery service. You can choose from fixed delivery points, or type in a location (e.g. Lutakko...) to see the delivery cost. You can also enter an address and the calculator will work out the distance and price. Please note that the calculator is still in development.
Note! When booking multiple items at the same time, only the delivery cost for the first item/items is calculated. In that case, the trailer surcharge does not apply automatically. The price calculator can also be found on the page:

New for spring 2026!
Outdoor Coaching – an easy start for your self-guided adventure.
We'll map out your wishes and skill level, plan a suitable route, put together clear instructions and practise using the gear together beforehand. Equipment is available for almost any trip (by agreement), but clothing and personal gear are brought by you.
The hands-on sessions are also great as a team activity day programme for groups!

Single kayak and canoe rentals starting from 45€/day. Weekly rentals 180–200€.
Kayak and canoe rentals include paddles, life jackets, and waterproof dry bags for most models. Kayaks also come with additional safety equipment.
PLEASE NOTE! Renting and using kayaks and canoes requires prior experience and sufficient skills on the water!
The longest booking available through the website is 7 days. For longer rentals, please contact us by email, contact form, or phone/WhatsApp message.
The "from" prices listed for products are the first-day rates. The daily rental rate decreases as the rental period gets longer.
We also rent shelter and sleeping equipment, from hammocks to a variety of tents, as well as cooking gear — suitable for solo adventurers and larger groups alike.
You can also pay for your rentals with Epassi, Smartum sports benefit, and Edenred leisure benefit.
