Canoes and Kayaks
The minimum rental period for canoes and kayaks is a 6–8h day rental, and the maximum is 7 days.
For rentals extending overnight, the recommended pick-up time is 12:00 noon and return by 11:00 am.
Departures and returns at the Varkaantaipale rental point must fall within the opening hours of the summer restaurant ( https://varkaantaipale.fi/).
- The booking calendar will indicate that your selected dates are unavailable if you try to book a period longer than 7 days through it.

Nova Craft Canoe Prospector 15' SP3 is a slightly scaled-down "all-rounder" canoe based on the legendary Chestnut Canoe Company Prospector design — a true workhorse of the Canadian wilderness. A tough and highly seaworthy general-purpose canoe made from impact- and abrasion-resistant SP3 triple-layer polyethylene, suitable for flatwater, rivers and small rapids. A generous 3" rocker makes the Prospector nimble, and a carrying capacity of nearly 400 kg is more than enough for a weekend trip or use where maximum load capacity is not the top priority.
