Canoes and Kayaks
The minimum rental period for canoes and kayaks is a 6–8h day rental, and the maximum is 7 days.
For rentals extending overnight, the recommended pick-up time is 12:00 noon and return by 11:00 am.
Departures and returns at the Varkaantaipale rental point must fall within the opening hours of the summer restaurant ( https://varkaantaipale.fi/).
- The booking calendar will indicate that your selected dates are unavailable if you try to book a period longer than 7 days through it.

Korppivuori Adventures
Rental includes a life jacket, paddle, waterproof gear bag and safety kit.
Location: Otava, also available as a separate order delivered to Varkaantaipale during June–August.
Wave Sport Hydra is a high-quality and agile touring kayak made from polyethylene, ideal for day trips or weekend adventures. The Hydra performs excellently in both choppy and calm water. The kayak is easy to handle and suits both beginners and more experienced paddlers alike. The Wave Sport Hydra comes equipped with a contoured and highly adjustable Core Whiteout seat, three storage hatches, adjustable thigh braces and a retractable skeg, among other features. The versatile Hydra is suited for medium to larger-sized paddlers.
